To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Fund Operations Manager (m/f/d) to join our Frankfurt office.

Your Responsibilities
As Fund Operations Manager, you will play a central role at the intersection of the Investment and Portfolio teams and Bright Capital’s Germany- and Luxembourg-domiciled funds.

  • Fund Operations
    • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including AIFM, fund administrators, loan agents, and depositaries
    • Manage and oversee external stakeholders, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
    • Monitor fund cash flows, fee calculations, fund finance, and foreign currency transactions

  • Transaction Support
    • Support the operational execution of investments, including capital calls, distributions, and investment closings (payments and deal execution)
    • Ensure compliance with investment strategies and investment criteria

  • Investor Relations
    • Prepare investor reporting in collaboration with the accounting team
    • Support the quarterly NAV calculation and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
    • Support fundraising activity and prepare investor DDQs
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting requirements
    • Ensure high data quality and transparency for internal and external stakeholders

  • Audit & Governance
    • Coordinate and support annual audits and financial statement processes
    • Liaise with auditors, AIFM, and other relevant parties

  • Process Improvement & Projects
    • Drive continuous improvement of fund operations processes and systems
    • Contribute to fund structuring and operational projects

Dein Profil

  • Several years of experience as a Fund Administrator, Fund Accountant, Accountant, or Controller (industry- and stage-agnostic) and at least 4 years of relevant adjacent professional experience (e.g. in accounting or controlling)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree 
  • Fluency in English and German
  • High level of ownership and responsibility
  • Strong communication skills
  • Interest in an entrepreneurial environment with room for impact
